I wrote a humorous memoir, You Should Write A Book! True Tales Of An Unstable Life (in just 30 days!), which earned five stars from Readers’ Favorites, a children’s book called, What To Do When You’re Worried About COVID-19, and I’m currently writing a work of historical nonfiction about how my grandmother left WWII England for a new life in the States with only one of her two young sons. 

My blog’s social following established me as a micro-influencer and a social media expert panelist for the 2018 MediaCon event hosted by the Alliance for Women in Media, Dallas/Ft. Worth. 

A more than 20-year career in advertising, with a three-year stint as a middle school teacher tucked in along the way just to keep things interesting, I have a passion for education, psychology and human behavior, and lifelong learning.

Born and raised in Texas, I live in a tiny town north of Austin with my two sons and our three dogs (including Austin's very own Lilly the Therapy Dog!)
